Cheerwine Festival
Brief: Following the success of the 2018 Cheerwine Festival, event organizers knew they needed to provide more information to festivalgoers both before and during the event. In previous years, the city created an event page on their main website, which received over 10,000 visits on the day of the festival alone. It was now time for the Cheerwine Festival to have its own website.
Solution: Designed and developed a dedicated Cheerwine Festival website. The design reflects the festival’s southern charm and highlights Salisbury’s hometown business Cheerwine.

Employee Portal
Brief: The City of Salisbury conducted a survey of all employees, which resulted in strong feedback that internal communications were lacking. Employees felt isolated from other departments and even other teams within their departments.
Solution: Developed a cloud-based web portal specific to employees. This serves as a central platform for internal communications for City of Salisbury employees, featuring news, a calendar, employee kudos and a comprehensive resources page.
This employee portal is IP-locked and unavailable to non-employees.

City of Salisbury
Brief: The City of Salisbury had an outdated website, both in terms of technology and content. In regards to the outdated technology, the website was not responsive or mobile-friendly which is essential for current day websites. The content management system (CMS) for the website was Sharepoint 2010 and labor reductions meant there was not enough staff to support the large number of administrative tasks related to the CMS.
Solution:
Our website’s top priority is ensuring visitors can quickly find up-to-date, accessible information. It uses a content-first strategy that prioritizes content based on visitor needs and interests. The responsive design has accessibility features built in and the robust content management system allows city staff to keep content up-to-date.
Roses of the Realm
Brief: A performance troupe is growing quickly. The troupe needs a way to sell promotional merchandise, advertise for upcoming performances and a professional method for contact.
Solution: Photographed the troupe and designed a website to capture the dynamic dance, comedy and music acts. The design highlights each troupe member and meet the functional needs of the troupe.
